Editor-in-Chief Courtney Smith: We get a lot of questions about the "Turtle Trader" website. Is it related to the famous Turtles and/or Richard Dennis? Is the product any good? We don't know a lot about their products but we will contact them to see if they are willing to be reviewed by us. We do know that they are not associated with Richard Dennis or the Turtles but they do seem to be focused on the same type of trend following methods that they used. I believe that the trend following techniques outlined by the original Turtles and Richard Dennis are excellent ways for traders to make money in the markets but require extra self discipline because the drawdowns tend to be larger than other systems. In spite of this, I use similar techniques in my own professional trading.
